The most important thing is that we strive to be responsible stewards of Southern Nevada, this way we can all do our part in preserving the beauty and access of our climbing areas. No matter where you live you can be a part of this community by supporting the SNCC.

Why contribute?

  • Advocacy

We attend regular meetings with land managers to advocate for sustainable access.

  • Anchor Replacement and Route Rebolting

Using your donations, we purchase and install bolts and anchor hardware throughout the region in order to help keep aging routes safe and enjoyable.

  • Service Projects

We coordinate initiatives like trail maintenance and stabilization, graffiti clean up, and litter removal to make sure we protect the local climbing areas so we can enjoy them for years to come.

  • Wag Bag

We stock and resupply those essential sanitary bags for human waste removal! These Wag Bags cost around $3 EACH and take a lot of coordination to resupply.

  • Community Events

We host events, both large and small, to grow our Southern Nevada climbing community! Engaging with local climbers is crucial in spreading the word about our organization.

Events like Reel Rock viewings hosted annually and Red Rock Rehab are our biggest of the year!

  • Responsible Climbing

We serve as an important resource for local and visiting climbers seeking info about Southern Nevada.

Information we provide includes how long to stay off sandstone after it rains and where to find alternate limestone and granite and if there are any closures in the area.
