Cory has been involved with the SNCC for the last two years and is extremely passionate about maintaining access to all of the incredible climbing scattered across Southern Nevada. Through his local connections and outdoor experiences, he has positioned himself to properly steward the area with the help of all of the amazing volunteers who have kept this organization and climbing areas running in the past. If elected, the SNCC's main focus in 2026 will be driving memberships/fundraising, continuing to throw high-quality events throughout the year, continuing to pursue the reopening of Mt. Charleston with the Forest Service, ensuring the Climbing Management Plan is properly reflecting the local community's voice, and hopefully get these pesky rain monitoring stations up and running!

Luke first visited Red Rock in 2018 and was immediately hooked. After a couple of years and a number of trips out, he moved to Vegas and has continued to grow more passionate about the land and the community since then. Luke is a volunteer regional admin for the Southern Nevada area of Mountain Project and helps to develop and maintain crags in Red Rock. He is always looking for new ways to give back so that others can continue to enjoy climbing as much as he has. After serving as webmaster for the SNCC last year, Luke is continuing with the board for another year in an expanded capacity as vice president.

Thomas began climbing in 2011 at the Red River Gorge, KY and has been calling Las Vegas his semi-permanent home since 2019. He is a local climbing guide and route developer. His safety focused, attention to detail mindset that he acquired from guiding, combined with a masochistic tendency for route development, has led him to the even more masochistic world of replacing outdated climbing hardware. He takes pride in the work that he accomplishes and with the help of the local rebolting crew, he plans to leave a trail of rusty hardware in his dust.

Cassie just moved from Wisconsin to Las Vegas after falling in love with Red Rocks on multiple trips! As a Volunteer Assistant Naturalist and Ambassador at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, She is all in on preserving our desert playground while supporting local climbing organizations like the SNCC. She is excited to bring a fresh Midwest perspective, learn the NV scene, partner up for climbs, volunteer projects, and help grow our community.

Monica has been a passionate climber for many years with some of her most memorable climbing experiences in Southern Nevada. She treasures her outdoor experiences and wants to serve our community which has deeply enriched her life. As a graphic designer who works in the athletic apparel industry and has worked with environmental protection organizations, she is an excellent candidate for the role of Social Media Coordinator and is the current Social Media Director of the SNCC. She will endeavor to serve our community by providing increased digital communications to locals and visitors alike. Monica has created work for the Sierra Club, Grid Alternatives, Yoga Journal, and the California Council of Land Trusts. She has volunteered with the American Alpine Club, the Yosemite Climbing Association, Friends of the Inyo, and the SNCC. In 2017 and 2025 she attended the Access Fund Summit.

Like many of you, Ray spends his free time exploring all the amazing climbing that Southern Nevada offers. Having lived in Las Vegas for the past 3 years, he has naturally spent lots of time not climbing - waiting in line for routes, trying to park at Mt Charleston with some Tesla managing to take up three spots, getting flat tires on beat up roads out at Potosi, or cleaning up dog poop from trails in Kraft. With the inevitable growth of climbing and recreation in the area, he understands these issues don’t have simple fixes but is passionate about how we can make this better. He wants to make sure we support growth in access to existing and new climbing areas, make sure route developers are supported, bring more visibility to the work of the SNCC, and make it easier to get involved. He has been climbing for over 10 years, an Access Fund member since 2015, and a strong supporter of the ASCA and RRGCC.

Jason has been bouldering in Vegas since 2013, and his family moved here permanently in late 2020 right after his daughter was born. Jason is a local advocate for best practices in Southern Nevada climbing and loves to give back to the community in the best way he can. He has deep knowledge in the nooks and crannies of all of Red Rock Canyon having bouldered in essentially every location. With his daughter just getting into climbing, his family is also venturing back more into sport climbing.

Annie came to climb at RRCNCA for the first time in 2018. She kept finding herself back here, year after year, each time a little longer than the last, and always with a sense of homecoming. Through SNCC's "BLM Liaison" role in 2025, Annie worked towards providing the climbing community with visibility into BLM-related topics, ensuring that climbers had the opportunity to share their input on these matters, and helping foster a cooperative relationship between climbers and local land managers in our mutual goal of caring for the land we all love. Annie hopes to have the opportunity to continue these efforts in 2026 as we continue collaboration with the BLM on the upcoming Climbing Management Plan!

Josh has been guiding rock locally for five years. He cares deeply about Red Rock Canyon and Leave No Trace principles. Being out there five days a week puts him in an ideal position to help out with something big - like wag-bags. Wag-bags are a fantastic resource in the Mojave, where the microbiome in the soil doesn't contain the necessary organisms to break down human waste.
