Calling all artists & climbers—senders, belayers, weekend warriors, dirtbags, and desert dreamers—we want YOUR vision of Southern Nevada climbing on our next community T-shirt. Get involved, win big prizes! not to mention bragging rights at the crag!

Entry Guidelines and Rules

1. Eligibility

  • Open to all current SNCC members.

  • Membership must be active by September 28, 2025 to qualify.

  • Join or renew here: southernnevadaclimbers.org/join.

  • Participants under 18 must have parent/guardian consent to enter.

2. Artwork Requirements

  • Original work only. Entries must be created entirely by the submitting artist.

  • No AI-generated art (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion).

  • Acceptable creation methods: hand-drawn, painted, or digitally created using software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, etc.).

  • File Format:

    • Preferred: Vector files (.AI, .EPS, .SVG, vector-based PDF).

    • Acceptable: High-resolution raster file (.PNG or .JPG) at 300 DPI, sized to 10” × 10”.

  • Works must be suitable for screen printing (avoid small text, photo-realistic gradients).

  • Designs must not contain copyrighted material, logos, or imagery that you do not own.

4. Judging & Selection

A panel of SNCC board members will evaluate submissions based on:

  • Creativity

  • Printability

  • Representation of Southern Nevada climbing community

Winners will be announced at Red Rock Rehab 2025 in Las Vegas on November 1, 2025.

5. Prizes

  • 1st Place: $250+ climbing gear package + free shirt + 1-year SNCC membership

  • 2nd Place: $150 gear bundle + free shirt + 1-year SNCC membership

  • 3rd Place: $100 essentials kit + free shirt + 1-year SNCC membership

Prize Distribution:

  • Prizes will be awarded in person at the November 1, 2025 Red Rock Rehab event.

  • If a winner cannot attend, Prizes will be held for local Las Vegas pickup until December 31st, 2025. After that date, prizes will be considered a donation to the SNCC to continue its work on climbing access and rebolting efforts.

6. Artist Rights

  • Winning artists grant SNCC a perpetual, royalty-free license to reproduce, modify, and use their winning design for T-shirts, merchandise, promotions, and community projects.

  • SNCC will credit the artist whenever possible.

  • Non-winning entries remain the property of their creators and will not be used without permission.

7. General Rules

  • SNCC reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet technical requirements or contain inappropriate/offensive content.

  • SNCC reserves the right to make small adjustments to the winning artwork to optimize for printing.

  • By submitting an entry, participants agree to these rules and to allow SNCC to use their name and design in promotional materials related to the contest.

  • Decisions by the judging panel are final.
